Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

Every day brings opportunities to show God’s love through simple acts of kindness. It seems as we get busier and busier, our inclination to slow down and notice others becomes less and less. Small moments can make someone’s day. We may not realize the full weight of a kind word, a welcoming smile, or an open door, but Hebrews 13:2 reminds us both how unaware we can be of the “mundane,” but also how significant those moments might be that we are not even paying attention to. Even when you don’t know how God is working or you don’t see the fruit, be kind and be intentional today.
